Bytes and PiecesThe Bytes & Pieces mission is to provide reliable, secure and cost-effective IT solutions and service to all of its clients, from small and medium sized businesses to large companies and organizations. Bytes & Pieces HistoryBytes & Pieces Lda is part of the Lonrho Group of Companies. The original concept for Bytes & Pieces was developed in Maputo, Mozambique where the company has been developing and endorsing the outsourcing principle as the most logical option for small, medium and large enterprise companies looking to optimize their IT investment. Making a decision to outsource the design and implementation of the company’s IT infrastructure and then the day-to-day, on-line monitoring and management of networks can dramatically reduce IT costs. This reduction in cost translates to an ongoing management benefit – allowing management to concentrate on their core business and not on IT. Bytes & Pieces has been developing this model for the last 12 years in Mozambique and has thus acquired an extensive expertise in the recurring IT concerns of the small, medium and large enterprise. These include how to measure the return on IT Investment; analyzing and understanding control of costs; understanding what benefit technology can add to their business and attracting and maintaining skilled consultants necessary to run their networks. This expertise and know-how has been attained in an emerging African environment where the barriers to entry for enterprises and organizations have been high. At the same time, there is a keen recognition that there is an uncompromising necessity for reliable IT and communications solutions. This is one of the management cornerstones on which Bytes & Pieces has been established. Bytes & Pieces is currently operating in South Africa (Johannesburg and Nelspruit), Zambia (Lusaka) and Zimbabwe (Harare) as Complete Enterprise Solutions. Contact Bytes & Pieces
