Transnational Freightlink (Pty) Ltd was established in 1991 by Richard Ingram and Mark Roering who are still the founding Shareholders of the Company. As an owner managed business, we have attained high levels of professionalism we have offered customers over the past 21 years have resulted in steady growth and as a result we have secured a loyal customer base and dedicated staff.

Our core operations cover the transport of various packaging products manufactured by the packaging industry and FMCG’s with purpose built equipment. This has allowed us to be identified as a niche player in our sector by providing specialised services to this sector and this has enabled the company to distinguish itself from its competitors.

Geographically we have our head office in Randburg, depots in Paarl and Rosslyn with our own workshop and maintenance facilities. We also have shared facilities in Vanderbijlpark, Roodekop, Rosslyn, Springs, Durban and Gaborone at customer premises.

Our well-maintained fleet of 37 vehicles safely and reliably distributes goods between South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland, Mozambique and Lesotho. Our main centres of distribution in South Africa are between Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Western Cape.

Recently we have expanded our business interest and are doing local distribution of products on behalf of contracted clients with dedicated vehicles. Outsourced warehousing services and management has been added to our portfolio of services. Since 2008 we have actively extended services to two existing customers. We see this as a further growth area going forward.

Vehicles are equipped with satellite tracking systems enabling real-time vehicle positioning to provide more accurate time of deliveries. With cellular phones and the vehicle tracking system we are able to have instant contact between our drivers, depots and clients to ensure peace of mind to our clients and to safeguard the company. During 2008 we added DriveCam technology to our vehicles to assist us with fleet risk management.

We comply with all legislative requirements in respect of company administration, Bargaining council, WCA and SARS. We also adhere rigidly to vehicle fitness and roadworthiness of vehicles and comply with all statutory requirements concerning road ordinance and safety.

We have a full time driver training instructor that cover all aspects of driver behaviour and skills development and ensure that we meet customer service standards and defensive driving skills.

Our management ethos is to build loyalty with our staff, customers and suppliers by being sincere in our business dealings with them and to offer all stake holders a sense of security and well being in the organisation or their association with us.
