Totally Mozambican Private Company under shareholding control of its management.

Creation of the Company:

The operations started in 2008 after its legal creation, under NUEL nr 100045745, NUIT nr 400190119.

Objectives of Creation:

Company created to provide services such as International Logistics and Freight Forwarding of Mozambique Imports and Exports transportation, clearing and delivering services under a competitive costs on behalf of importers and exporters. Cargo is transported by Sea, Air and Road. Cargo is cleared through a CCB, Customs Clearing Brokers acting as our company business partners to complement the service.

The Other Objectives are:

-Making sure the effectiveness of transporting of cargo from the point of origin to the point of final delivery in a very short transit times.
-Advising the importers for the purchase of goods under FOB Terms and the Exporters to sell their goods under CIF terms. This enable the clients to pay all the freight charges directly to Globo Distribuidora, Lda, very competitive charges and in Mozambique local Currency(MZM), after arrival of imported goods and after SOB(Shipped On Board) of the exported goods.

Service Provided:

-Global Logistics and International Freight Forwarding. Sea, Air, Road Transport coordination for any kind of the internationally non prohibited goods, regular imports/Exports and big project cargo handling, national distribution in whole Mozambique. Transit cargo to and from neighboring hinterland countries.

We have bought our own truck of cargo capacity of 4 tons which is suitable for the transport and delivery or collection of air freight cargo. This truck has a closed trailer. Also we offer road transport in a sub-contracted big trucks of 28 tons capacity all over Mozambique to load any kind of cargo. We offer International Road freight from JHB and Durban to Maputo, for all kind of cargo except dangerous goods such as army and explosives. However other DG, such as pesticides, perfumes and other related cargo if Mozambique domestic transport we can handle.

Freight & Other Service Charges:

-Before any shipment is effected, a quotation of the service to be rendered is provided and the payment terms and validity are also indicated for the clients approval.

International Network of Agents:

-The company is working with non exclusive overseas agents in Germany, Portugal, Italy, India, China, Dubai, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, RSA, Canada, Canada, USA & Brazil.

Recent and Actual Business Intervention:

During 2008 year the company handled a big project cargo, the Rural Electrification Project of the company Electricidade de Mocambique. Our company is acting as Logistic Agents for 2 sub-contractors, being a Danish & Germany companies. Total cargo handled until 31.12.08 for this project is 36x20´, 13x40´hc and big 29 tons transformer of 66/33 KV and another Power transformers of 10MVA 66/33KV and Station Supply Transformer 33/0,4 250KVA. Also the company handled about 25x20´ imports and export cargo. From January 2009 we have already handled import cargo consisted on various Teus, Feus and vehicles, Air Freight & Road Freight from Europe, Brazil, Kenya & JHB to Mozambique. Actually our company will start the handling of another 2 big Projects in Maputo & Northern Region of Mozambique, about 320 mixed containers, through next 2 years and shortly will start handling of another DG goods export project from Moz to Europe of about 20 mixed containers. A National Distribution of Advertisement booklets for whole Hospitals & other Gov and Public Institutions Project will start earlier in July, 2009

Offices:

The main and own office is located in Maputo on the address as mentioned above. Shortly we are opening our own offices in Beira, Nampula(Nacala) and Quelimane and meanwhile we are using our Agents offices at the moment.
