Mozport Limitada (full name Mozport - Transport Investments of Mocambique Limited) was constituted in the city of Maputo in May 2007 under registration number 100016001 and is licensed by the Mozambican Ministry of Transport to undertake the following activities:

  • General Ships Agency
  • Freight contracting and management
  • Clearing and Forwarding of International Transit cargoes
  • Warehousing of International Transit cargoes
  • Tallying and Cargo Superintendency
  • Auxillary stevedoring services

The company was formed with the intention of facilitating and capitalizing on the resurgence and re-vitalisation of Maputo as a major regional port following substantial recent investment in the port and it’s hinterland corridors. Mozport has within a short space of time become an established port agency company representing a number of major international shipowners and cargo interests. Main areas of activity relate to:

  • Liner and Tramp vessel Agency
  • Warehousing
  • International cargo transit export agency and logistics management
  • Cargo tallying, superintendency and quality management

The management team of Mozport have over 30 years local Mozambican shipping experience and the company is backed by an international shipping player operating in over 15 countries and able to offer a combined in-house agency service to include South African ports as well as all Mocambican ports , via sub-agency activities.
