Safmarine

Safmarine Container Lines NV is a Belgian shipping company, based in Antwerp and specialising in sea transportation of cargoes between Africa, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent as well as operating in other trades. Our services are mainly based on fully containerised vessels but we also have a division offering services for non-unitisable break bulk and project cargo.

Vision:

Safmarine’s vision is ‘To be the carrier of choice for existing and future customers’.

It’s a vision that is shared by Safmariners around the world and one that has been responsible for our success in one of the toughest, most commoditised industries in the world; shipping.

Safmariners around the globe have a common desire to be the ‘people making the difference’ and it’s this desire that differentiates us from our competition. But how do we make the difference?

In the way we interact with our customers and our communities; by being personal, committed and understanding; by being accountable, dependable and passionate and by listening to, and understanding, the needs of our customers.

This ‘difference’ is a trait shared by all Safmariners, whether at sea or ashore and regardless of individual culture, language, religion and interests. Our customers recognise this ‘difference’ as the ‘Safmarine DNA’ and through this we become their ‘carrier of choice’.
