The Africa Community Access Project (AFCAP) and the Asia Community Access Project (ASCAP) is a programme of applied research, capacity building and knowledge dissemination funded by the UK Government though the Department for International Development (DFID). AGOA builds on existing US trade programs by expanding the (duty-free) benefits previously available only under the country’s Generalised System of Preferences (GSP) program.
